Has anyone noticed or heard of your time card being blocked if you’re going to be laid off? I went to go try to cancel a PTO request for later in the summer, but after April 4, my time card is totally black. I cannot make any changes. Other team members see the same thing. We do expect RIF in our department. Any HR or payroll people have any thoughts on this?

@ak Nope - but my group doesn't make requests, we let them know when we're going and that's it. I've never understood the mgrs on a power trip that deny PTO. Can't log it in the system further than 2 pay periods.
@af so you can not request time off if over a month away ?
@a7 In what world? Have been here 10 years and never been able to put in time further out than 2 pay periods.
@OP so I just checked and I am unable to do anything after the next 2 weeks . This is new as I’ve always been able to request time for the year . I am greyed out
You can’t do stuff more than two pay periods out, including enter PTO requests - that’s probably why it appears locked.
