Our beloved CHRO, EVP, Corporate Secretary and awkward town hall laugher is all about Cigna's Summer of Vitality. However, there seems to be no consideration for the fact that forced RTO is a major factor in lowered vitality.
So, as long as we are forced in to "collaborate" via WebEx, there is no real effort or desire to truly bolster employee vitality. Nothing but a load of self-aggrandizing balloon juice.

@am behavioral coaching? I’m pi---d about this new restructuring and “OnePath” or carepath or whatever the he-l it is they want to calm it- all I know is it means I’m being forced to work crisis schedule- and be cross trained to work 3 jobs but not be given any pay increase. Bunch of BS.
My team - mostly virtual - is getting every other Friday off without taking PTO. I’m sure this is against some policy or is that what summer of vitality is supposed to be?
I’ll take the free days off until I take my early voluntary retirement!

I left Cigna on my own months ago, from time to time I like to come back to this forum to see if anything has changed. It saddens me to see what Cigna has become. I got lucky and found a great job thats not actively laying off employees nor forcing them into the office.
Yeah, me having to train the new HIH hires to “help back me up”, knowing full well that they’ll can my a$$ as soon as I’m done is really helping me enjoy this Summer of Vitality.

Nothing is more vital than sitting in your car 2 hours per day in order to webex with your teammates across the country.
You just can’t get that kind of vitality sitting at home.
