Candy’s real achievement: Create his clones, who will shamelessly use AI in anything or everything. It’s beyond ridiculous. This will damage the culture as free loaders will assume cheap talk is the way to go.

Candyman is a snake oil salesman, who has no leadership skills, has zero experience leading technology, he was, is and will remain a salesman. And the only skill he has is selling himself. He was brought in to clean the bloat in Tech, but being clueless AF, he has done nothing except self promotion and peddle AI as a cure-all while surrounding himself with sycophants who all act as if they are in a tiktok video, not a serious healthcare company. Candyman WILL be let go,eventually, but not before he runs this company into the ground.

Anyone who tricks themself into thinking the leadership at this company is capable of introspecting is out of their minds. You will not directly benefit if this company decides to start hiring onshore talent again. This company does not value your knowledge and experience, if they did they wouldn't have offshored to begin with.
If you are not eventually replaced by offshoring, you will be replaced with a college grad. If you are not eventually replaced by a college grad you will be replaced by a person they pay less picking up your work, or because they think an LLM can do your job even if it can't.

Candyman shows clear contempt for UHG’s ecosystem and people, likely due to his outsourcing background where extracting work at low cost was the priority. He’s forgotten he's now on the other side. A clear misfit — it’s time to move on.
100x faster (aka Candyman) came from Mars and was supposed to revolutionize our IT. He offshored all of it, firing staff firms that had been producing for us, some for 15+ years. Then he negotiated contracts with the largest India firms. The hourly rates were higher than what we were paying but he gave billions to these large Indian tech firms.
He'll be gone soon enough and the offshoring will result in on-shoring again.
I hope redeployment sends him some suggestions for other roles.
Oopsie hopping on the new shiny thing cloud, AI gonna get burned. Kinda like when it looks to good to be true it is. They all failed to realize cloud costs go to infinity when you dont know what you are doing. Every compute cycle costs you money, every bit of storage costs you money. Free to upload data but costs big $$ to get it back out. Remember when google mail was such big deal all free since they are mining data from your email. Same thing goes with the cloud. Oh wait that is our business plan to mine all the customer information from claims submitted and all other data forms in our products. Hiring a bunch of cheap employees costs you more money than that one expensive one who can actually produce. AI is useless if you dont have a business plan to direct where you want to go.
Candyman showed zero progress in IT, Costs have went up way above for on prem and cloud, additionally he is digging grave for UHG by giving data to cloud companies which they don't understand is being used by cloud companies to train their LLM Models as lot of professors have published in their studies and soon competitor will rise in all UHG ( as if amazon wasn't enough ) profitable sectors and UHG will be left with loss making sectors alone.
