LBT is just signalling but watch and see how INTC performs relative to the sector, especially if AI is in the midst of Spring 2000 dot-com price discovery.

The sector would also be under pressure from a slowing global economy, as the world rapidly pulls away from globalization and regional economies get reshuffled due to tariffs.

Socialist countries like the EU, and 1 particular communist country have been abusing the US for some time, pretending to be for free trade then heavily biasing against imports with all manner of trade restrictions.

But this correction of trade imbalances may cause a deep recession in those other countries and that affects the US as well, and especially highly cyclical industries like semiconductors.

The sector will also get a specific hit from the semi tariff, and that should eventually be a plus for IFS, it is an immediate hit for Products.

I continue to add INTC even as I use leveraged ETFs to short FANG, NVDA and MSTR and think that will work out, because of how overbought the top of the market currently is.

Let's break it down for the folks in the back. If my bank account has 10,000 and I put one dollar into Intel, how much skin do I have in the game? Fu-k that guy.

Fake news doesn’t have the stock price he bought at with that $25 millions of US dollar or Asian money. Why don’t he use that fraction of the money to pay Intel $50 billions debt or rehire some laid off employees ? That old dude doesn’t care about Intel or its employees and will rip off more profits from this purchase when his gangs will lay off more employees through cost saving marketing propaganda.

Nothing can beat putting down real money to show your commitment and confidence to make difference. I have not seen investment by a Intel CEO at this scale before. For this, he got my vote of confidence.

This news will make a lot of Intel id--t managers and fans happy because they have been waiting for a big whale to come and eat their sh-t for several years. They don’t have the technical or knowledge to make good chips so the only way is to pray for a whale to bring up their stock price. Keep praying and the whale will come to dump the sh-t on your heads.

Lip-Bu looks committed and tough actions are indeed coming … he doesn’t look like of any other previous ceo coming to make any short term gains and leave but with his kind of age hope he makes mature and good decision…

How come not one single employee at Intel knows stocks and investing. Not one. The ones who claim too don’t

Dude is a billionaire (aka 1000X millionaire) and although the amount is more than usual, it is still to signal that he is committed.

The stock is retesting along with the sector, preparing for what could be some fireworks next week if the semi tariff kraken is released unto the world.

President Tariff is following his typical will-he-won't-he tactic of going big, then talking it down to calm the market, then going big again once the market recovers, so better to have a target range and trade around that.

On INTC I would like to get some near $21 where it gapped up, but it could revisit $19 if the tariff is a real thing that actually happens. Intel imports a lot of chips along with everyone else.

May we live in exciting times!

How about appointing a CEO who's not a multi millionaire? Buybacks are an id--ts way to try and manipulate the market. Don't fool yourself this is Just more of the uber wealthy and their comical games. Personal skin in the game that is actually tied to a CEOs personal financial survival would be more efficient. P.S. I wonder how PATs ultra religious friends feel about sc--wing Ohio out of billion through Pat/Intels shady one sided agreements.
