Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Trump has withdrawn the nomination. Bad for us but good for our country.

President Trump has withdrawn his nomination of Fiserv (FI) CEO Frank Bisignano as Commissioner of Social Security Administration, according to a communication of the proceedings posted to the Congress website. The Senate has acknowledged it “received message of withdrawal of nomination from the President.” On Thursday, Fiserv had announced the appointment of Michael Lyons as president and CEO-elect of Fiserv, effective January 27. Lyons was to report to Frank Bisignano, who was said to continue in his current roles

We certainly need desperately someone with brains to manage SS! You can't get online, can't self serve, lock down access, no one answers calls and go to a local office they can't help, just set you up with a phone appointment weeks later. The amounts of SS we seniors are getting doesn't even pay part of a house payment, and mines not that high. I'm trying to get switched over to draw from my ex's ss, supposed to be able to do that online, but everything on their webs reject or don't recognize! Too much red tape, inefficiency, bad web site access, and where is 60 years of paying into this fund? It wasn't this bad before Bidens people got into everything...So WHO is in charge????

As a retired senior I am glad that he will not milk SSecurity dry for his own pocket ( oh the opportunity). And ruin my monthly check. But find anywhere but Fiserv. Oh IBM would be a good home or DELL which is a twin of these posts here if you look it up.

Franks not doing the SSA gig for the pay.
He is doing it so the debt card processing and account handling is taken private for the SSA. Companies like Fiserv would greatly benefit, as would Frank + Company upon his return to Fiserv.

Think about it. Does Frank seem driven by patriotism or money. Not a hard question.

Says withdrawn on 1/28 - hopefully it does still proceed. Everyone is really hoping he’s gone in June and doesn’t have any association with fiserv.

@a3+1jjsxqmjh Not so sure if you see what Elon has been doing to his own reputation lately.

He did not get withdrawn. I checked the site that reported this. They are proceeding.

Incorrect.

As said on the other thread, it was a gov admin error that has now been corrected.

For the avoidance of doubt…

It has NOT been withdrawn. It is very much going ahead as announced.

I would love to see Frank go mainly because I want him to live under intense scrutiny.
