Broadcom’s offices are empty because Hock Tan is constantly laying people off. And when someone accepts a position the clock starts for how long it will take before the horrible work hours and hostile environment cause the person to run out screaming.
@aep+1oj46i1F, second you.
As comparsion, Mediatek has only 20k+ employee. Layoffs will be a long-term behavior until QC emp numbers reach comparable data...
If you look at Intel, their layoff has last for more than 1 year..
restriction 50% won’t hurt qcom even a hair.
lol if Q was smart we need 50% layoff to be competitive
In Recent years, most hiring was done in low cost centers. In US, hiring was done only for new projects.
QC is too top heavy with SVPs VPs, Sr Directors...they need to flatten and consolidate. Will CA do the right thing....1. Let JT go ..he is a useless CTO 2. Consolidate and rid useless SVP., VPs, Sr Dr..Directors.. 3. Resolve Nuvia chip issue...it's time to eliminate fat.
What is the point? That only means Q is not as efficient, and most likely less sustainable in long run.
Yes it is true. But you could work here because Q hired so many more than what Q needed. So good and bad depending on how you accept.
That is what diversification needs. It’s just unfortunate that we are dragged down by the China economy crisis before the strategy becomes fruitful.
