As the title suggests, rumor in my dept is it will primarily be people on cloud teams and sales.

Not sure if it's cloud engineering. I just heard cloud.
Also to the person being optimistic about multiple linkedin roles currently posted... yeah that actually a bad sign in my experience in tech...
More indicative of an incoming layoff than not.
Also, I have heard on good authority that it was confirmed by a VP, but no details confirmed surrounding anything else.

Quarterly layoff, right on schedule. Nothing to see. Move along.
@aw The whole point is to push out the older, higher paid employees and quickly replace them with cheaper 20 year olds.

Hi all, maybe this is a ’much ado about nothing scenario’ ? Maybe just maybe there will be no layoffs? The reason I am saying that is because Netapp is advertising for lots of roles on LinkedIn. Many posted in the last couple of days. Makes no sense to fire a lot of people and at the same advertiser for a ton of roles??
