Companies with bad strategy and below average employees don't get much attention from the job poachers and head hunters... For obvious reasons.

Few companies are actively hiring right now. Some may be filling a few critical positions but most are waiting it out. The world could change in a big way starting on 20 Jan. Since no one really knows what the impact will be people and companies are cautiously waiting it out. The first 100 days of the new administration will show what is going to happen. By early summer things will likely have calmed downed and go back to normal or it could be the start of some really bad years. I am predicting the latter. If you aren't prepared it could be really hard.

Yes exactly. Why would they hire engineers who failed to work on their projects?! It would be like intentionally drinking poison.
And it is far worse then that. The other companies now understand how bad Intel culture is poisoning employees. Nobody wants these workers coming into their shop and acting like Intel culture. It is caustic and breeds failure.
No sht OP. You did not get a job. Obvious reason why. Such a negative person. Change yr attitude and pull yourself up by the bootstrap or get help.

Doesn’t matter. We are all painted with the same brush. Failures. The stain is on all of us as far as the rest of world sees it. The mess ups start at ground level and boil up getting bigger and bigger. So it does appear to everyone else that even the small guy on totem pole is bad and incompetent
There's a lot of smart, talented, people at Intel. The mess ups were made at the strategic level.
I have seen easily over 300 in the last 3 months and only 5 got to next stage. No offers were given out. Higher levels have a strict no hiring on Intel refugees. But an exception would be made for very special candidates if one were to appear
