@ad - Just because you're a woman doesn't mean you're entitled to any special treatment by Verizon during layoffs.
There's a lot of talented females in the workforce but if you sign up to work and receive a paycheck then you're subject to the same ups & downs of employment including cutbacks when a company is hemorrhaging subscribers.

@ad NOT surprised! However, where is your proof? GE did EXACTLY the same back in the 80s. Laid off ALL the women in our office in the 4 layoffs. The good old boys who were using CC for personal use and playing golf on PERSONAL days which were clearly enumerated in the employee handbook saved their own jobs. Division was history 2 years later!!!!!!! The BOYS got theirs!
Dei is clearly and obviously a reason why we are in the state we are in as a company. Look at whos in charge between AD and AVP. Also the liberal theories including hiring Hans (the foreign guy who was putting Greta Thunberg in company videos) created less income and more “feel good”. Dont be mad and emotionally invested in what you believe in when customers and revenue need to matter most.

DEI was promoted by subhumans, since they couldn't get jobs in competition with humans.
It's more important than ever that we have the most qualified in each and every position. I'm not making any theories. The reality is if they didn't get all of the DEI grifters we are in serious trouble
DEI is what ruined VZ. The number if incompetent leaders in key positions was unbelievable. Those that left a few months/years ago and now trying to sell their BS and acting like consultants which makes sense since they couldn't get hired at a premium company.
