Anyone know when the next major round of exec stock vesting is? I'm guessing with so many 32+ folks seeing the internal writing on the wall: disorganization, complete lack of strategy, 996 culture, etc that there will be selloffs and a quitting spree.

@eb Let's see. S&P up ~1.6%, UHG down ~1.6%
We're only about a 6% drop away from cracking the $200s. I only hope the heartburn SD, SH, and the other clowns experience is even a fraction of what they've imparted on employees and millions of patients seeing premiums rise and providers disappear.
A fresh new low may bring clarity needed for institutional investors to pressure the board for real change. No more AI fluff and nursing home TV dinner chats with an increasingly senile out of touch old fa-t whistling dixie.
I'm loving how the media keeps pumping the stock price.
@OP I think you were waiting for stocks to vest and people to quit but if you shorted at the earnings day pop you'd be in the money 10% today.
Love to see this pig get roasted under $300 so the board finally cleans house, we split the company, and smart people can take over. The layoffs + divestitures + share buybacks are all shell games, not actual strategy.
Careful with short positions. Good way to get pantsed
LMFAO!
Ehh uhg is planning company stock buyback. Those shares will be gobbled up. Thr time to short was back in January
@ad thousands of folks will be freed from that limitation tomorrow :)
Company prohibits selling short. If you work for Optum, you will be fired once they know about it.
@a8 Fed lowered rates - should be inflationary and spur companies to hire. Both should be major drivers for UHC. Stock is down 3% today and over 8% since earnings was announced.
Maybe people are waking up to the fact that geriatric SH and coke-clown SD aren't the leaders we need?
@a8 I think OP is suggesting taking advantage of an insider selloff due to lack of faith in the c-suite among those with shares vesting.
Diggin the copium on this thread!
with the stock still ~40% behind its 52w high, idk if i would be trying to short it
You're living in fantasy land if you think investors give any kind of a damn about layoffs or workplace culture. UHG prints money, shorting this stock is lunacy.
