What does it mean to be a manager or above and get a random 15 minute Leaders meeting - is that to discuss layoffs to come for our team or inform about a layoff of someone or a team that impacts our area? What have managers and above seen in these scenarios?

@a8 Communal layoffs at Optum are common. I and many of my colleagues were laid off in communal layoffs after we were acquired by Optum
More likely you’re getting cut if it’s just you and your manager.. but don’t get upset… be strong, say thank you and claim all the benefits you can!
What happened? Are you good?
@ad what bonus structure change?
There was one for OA today. Lisa Collins “retiring” was the announcement. Then some allusion to alignment of OA into OI to be forthcoming.
@a8 if org change do you think they laid off a leader, do you think they want us to layoff on our teams, or do you think it ia RTO, or about the new bonus structure thing?
@a7 OI
@a7 do you think layoffs of people who report to us, or layoffs of leadership? It is all mgrs and dir in dept on call.
@a8 others are on it too. All people leaders accross the dept.
If it’s you and that manager, usually an HR person is added last minute. And it’s a layoff unfortunately.
If it’s you and others in your group, it is probably letting you know of some organizational change. At least I have never heard of a communal layoff at Optum.
@OP do you mind sharing which branch of Optum you work for?
Unfortunately this is a layoff meeting and you are being impacted. Sorry.
