Org budgets make raise elimination a necessity

I doubt toxic managers got a pay cut. They most likely got a raise.
OP, you're surprised? what hole have you lived in, the company needs to more cash be ready for sale.
@ak if you can survive in those 3rd world countries, move there! why stay here with us in USA, just leave already.
@aj Taiwan and SK are first world countries. America is third world.
Great lets all move to a 3rd world country and make $25k year
@ae This is true. 7-8x the salary requires 7-8x the output. Intel is not a charity.
@af Taiwan salaries are also around that range. Asian societies operate on merit. What have you earned and why do you feel entitled to DEI money? Does intel owe you a high salary job, when they can get cheaper from SK and taiwan? This is capitalism 101.
Not sure you know what a top of the line PHd is if they work for 25k a year. Where do they live some village in a paper tent eating bugs and garbage
@ad The house makes the rules. You are the bottom feeder and need a salary to survive. Samsung salaries are $25,000 per year and they work 996. They get top of line PhDs to work there. What do they have that shittel employees don't?
Only bottom feeding losers with zero options stay after a 25% salary cut. You will get nowhere with 65k people with GED’s, fake Engineering job titles. What a show that would be.
Cut the salaries by 25%, across the board, to make Intel competitive again. The prices are too high. Lower salaries will promote IFS.
You can make budget space for raises by just firing some people. Presumably that's the plan judging from what happened this year.
Everyone here will be happy with it and have no problem with it as long as they get to keep their jobs. Thats where we are. A bunch of unmotivated folks
Not surprised! That's inevitable.
Have you heard about the LBT minion being planted by CCP
