My team is in a different office, and I’m the only one at another site. With full-time RTO, how are people approaching this when it doesn’t impact team collaboration?

Site strategy updates will be happening after the operating plan changes. People will be put on new teams.
Though - folks on islands will most likely get caught up in the RIF
Yep. So you will need to rove around the facility, striking up conversations with anyone you happen to see, trying to find ways to cross-functionally collaborate.
Day to day work becomes priority 999999.
@ac You are incorrect
They certainly are
The policy really isn’t that strict. I’m not sure coffee badgers were really let go.
'Coffee Badgers' are being tracked. Watch out! Anything <6 hours (regularly) in the office will be actioned soon!
It is not about that across the board. I was the only one in my office for 5 years and I had to be there regardless of where the rest of my team was located. I did collaborate with other groups outside my team.
They are definitely cracking down on coffee badgers an have let people go with no warning because of it, fairly recently
It’ll get more strict as well
There is no escape. It's a policy. You have to RTO even if the rest of the team is elsewhere. The reason - "use this opportunity to build relationships and networks with others outside of your team"
It's not fool proof by any means. But I see some people Coffee Badge. Look it up. But again, it's not 100%. Good luck.
