I heard from management that there are some pieces moving in the background . Has anyone heard!

I know many colleagues have no intention of complying with the 3 day in office mandate. HR has already linked noncompliance to bonuses and promotions, but it is clear how this will be enforced when review cycles and layoffs arrive.
The likely outcome is predictable. Teams will lose high performers over a policy that feels arbitrary and misaligned with how work actually gets done. That is not a talent problem, it is a poor policy choice.
For those still here, set intentional limits. It is not sustainable to absorb the workload of colleagues who disengage or leave because of this. If there is a gap don't cross it. If there is slack, don't pick it up. Leadership needs to see it feel the burden. Shielding the impact only enables them to further abuse us.
GK and his team need to seriously reconsider this direction. There is an opportunity to make NetApp more competitive by embracing remote work and trusting their workforce but these policies are going to ruin the company. A rigid mandate signals a lack of trust and will further narrow the talent pool. They need to deal with underperformance directly where it exists without imposing broad constraints on the entire workforce to address a small minority. The tradeoff they're making now will not hold.
Because they only care about stupid sh-t like RTO
There has been so many re-orgs lately. Why is it that all the good guys leave or get let go whilst the lazy ones doe F All and get away with everything.
Yes by the end of the year. Most
Orgs have some impacts.
Yes I have heard rumblings as well end of fiscal year supposedly.
@117 We saw how the core reps selling cloud thing played out back in 21-22. Almost sunk the company. I was new then and at ALS when this was mentioned and I heard zero about core products I knew something was wrong. But leadership pushed forward and we see how that ended up. We lost favor with every partner and market share across the board.
@ac thank GC
@ac … while Converge is going to be all about getting Core reps to sell cloud
Let’s finish the Q4 strong! (and start the new FY with a decent round of layoffs before converge)
@bg Director and above needs a haircut. They do not bring anything valuable to the company.
Product needs to get cut. Bloated org. Start from the top.
Yes, I heard the same thing (mid April). This is probably going to affect engineering the most, specifically Cloud teams, where there have been lots of unexpected re-orgs, leaving several engineers in "limbo".
