Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

REALITY Peak Bureaucracy : 1.5 months wasted on a "trivial" non-issue.

A simple policy clarification and ended up in a 6-week loop of "alignment calls" and "deep dives" with multiple teams. It felt like explaining basic math to people determined to make it calculus. After 45 days of overcomplicating the simplest request, they finally came back and said it’s "trivial and not applicable."

The level of incompetence and the obsession with making everything a project is exhausting. We’re not innovating; we’re just spinning tires and calling it progress.

Sounds like "Delivering on the Promise of One Fiserv" to me. One Fiserv of Red Tape.

The red tape in this company is absurd.

@OP calculus isn't hard it just takes learning a few different things. And it actually makes sense. Not remotely similar.

@ac There wasn't red tape on people forcing us to use A@I review slop that destabilizing codebases and makes people on auto pilot. It depends on how much it ruins our quality. The more, the more in a rush the re--rded people running this dumpster fire are to force it on everyone here. When we get lots more P1s and every product we ever bought become nasty, does the CIO also get to take his credit for that re--rded sh-t?

Who the fu-k decided to pay these clowns.

I love Fiserv. Can you tell?

Nothing ki-ls your passion like undertaking a project at Fiserv. This is A major reason I've decided to pull back on multiple initiatives on the job.

I agree!!! It is way to hard.. Nothing is getting done. It is clear the leadership is more concerned with red tape then actually fixing anything. The overseas influence, language issues and lack of current system knowledge is ki-ling us.
They don't know the systems so they guess or stop answering email.
Return this company to the US control and talent. You get what you pay for and its showing. Cheaper labor = poor performance and more incidents.
