I've been through these so-called restructurings before at other places and its always the same ugly playbook... let's hire some consultants who cost more than the salaries we are cutting to tell executives what everyone already knew... Use the consultant's findings as justification. Then act surprised when morale tanks and the remaining people are burned out from doing 33 jobs instead of 1.
The worst part is seeing peeps whove been here for yrs just 100% checked out now. why put in effort when you might not even be here next month? The management wonders why productivity is down. I wander too...
I am done here 100%%...I'm already updating my resume and reaching out to recruiters. If you're gonna treat employees like expendable resources, don't be shocked when the good ones leave before you get the chance to fire them.
