Oh sure, because obviously there’s a grand master plan behind everything—after all, strategic thinking totally comes naturally to the ExCom, right? I mean, why wouldn’t we assume a strategy exists… that would require competence, and clearly they’re overflowing with that.
@ac Yes. That is the strategy. Remember these people up the top have a lot of stock options/RSUs. When Medtronic eventually gets acquired, they'll be cashed the fk out and/or relocated into NewCo, just like that trash Que.
Is MDT trying to divest itself into oblivion in order to be acquired or absorbed into another much larger company? What is the strategy here? I just can't figure out what is going on or why they keep changing organizational structure and senior leaders like they are shuffling a deck of cards.
