If only the line employees spent this much time trying to improve their own work.

They seem to have a LOT of free time to micromanage LBT, albeit from a distance so great as to be on some other planet entirely.

Troll On Fab Monkeys.

Intel has too many employees and they cost too much. There is no turn around until spending stops and products improve. Bring back rating and ranking along with 360 reviews. The bottom 5% get cut. No CAP, no severance. Reviews happen twice a year.

The new turnaround plans is simple, set reasonable goals and meet or exceed them. Goals can't take more than a year to achieve. Anything that takes longer than 1 year needs to be broken down into smaller goals so that progress can be meaningfully monitored. If goals are missed or results are misrepresented then managers get the ax first. If too many people are hired managers get the ax first. If dead weight accumulates managers get the ax first.

It is all very sad. The plaques on the wall are kind of a joke at this point but I'm still hoping you get your sh-t together.

@ap+1j So you spend your time trolling on a board for a company you no longer work for?

Sad, isn't it?

This is assuming Intel actually wants to build great products, maintain great customers and have the brightest and best employees. I really don't think that is the current motivation of the CEO or the Board.

Someone just posted:

"It's all up to the CEO and the Board. You don't like what they are doing, remember that you are an 'at will" employee".

THIS is the attitude that has driven Intel into the ground. You and anyone who thinks like this are worthless ego driver id--ts and should be fired immediately.

@ae+1 I consider any mention of RTO as trolling, and the other things mentioned are up to LBT and the Board.

You don't like what they are doing, remember that you are an 'at will' employee (assuming you are an employee and not the typical stock troll spreading FUD).

Remember, it is ok to have an unexpressed thought.

Also, if you are at work, then do that instead of this.

@ac: it’s not a troll post. Please continue the serious discussion of how Intel would be better off without layoffs and RTO, taking a serious swing at anything we try
