I talk about it yearly and always the same thing. Can not be promoted to Position B until a rec has been opened for B, and then we need to fill A, and also you need 12% raises yearly for several years to hit the minimum pay bracket of B for you to move over from A. So, you'll never be promoted as we do not do such a thing based on tenure, work ethics, performance, and so forth. But pay scale, and you are never going to reach that bracket on 3% yearly, if we even give you that much. Those VPs need their 14 or 16% raises.
No conversation needed, I'm from the EMC side, and I don't have a permanent case of rectal cranial inversion. So I am totally fu---d when it comes to promotions.
Most people on my team do the job of at least one grade above their current grade if not more. Promotions are not going to happen from what I see.
How can all promotions have already happened (according to one comment below) if ACR is sent to managers on wed-12th? Isn’t the promotions informed during ACR?
