Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Everyone say “hi” to the Citi employees assigned to check this site every few hours and report back to management what is being posted.

Hey there guys.

Actually it might be a great thing if they retaliated. You get to take them to court and with patience you can settle out of court for millions.

Good ole Citi, retaliation for telling the truth or your opinion. I mean you can have an opinion, just so long as it does not conflict with what Citi wants to hear. So long as you can step within those guidelines, you don’t have to worry about your neck being crushed under the heel of Jane’s boots.

@se+1jjagcge3, they can't retaliate because it's not only free speech, but a protected speech as well. NLRA regulations protect employees' right to discuss wages and working conditions with one another.

Knowing the ip address and geolocation probably the max a citi employee can look for. Rest will require police involvement and evidence for anything illegal. This is just free speech and people just letting some steam off. I don’t see it going farther than that.

Even if IPs are matched and employees are identified, so what ?
Its time Citi learns to take authentic feedback from it’s employees and acts upon it constructively, instead of fake feedback from VOE.

dont even have to go down that length, just using your smartphone will likely be a different isp provider than the isp someone would use in their home for remote work. Most connect their laptop/desktop on their home network and their smartphone uses a different isp provider your cellular network offers. That is two different public IP's. If you go to a family/friends house and access this site, you will just get their geolocation. Just a regular non tech worker has this variance to work with.

Most people DON’T use their Citi laptop to navigate to this site. The d-mb ones do but not the smart ones. Also, most people use a VPN solution and\or an anonymizer on their personal laptops, then navigate to this site to make posts. To kick it up a notch higher, its not uncommon for someone to….go to a coffee shop, fire off the VPN solution on their laptop, connect to yet another web browsing anonymizer and then connect to this site.
Good luck on chasing that down.

Authentication using a hardware token like a SAFEWORD card effectively establishes a secure tunnel between your BYOD device and the virtualized server environment which the firm allows via cloud desktop.

Very minimal data aside of originating IP (of the client), and some basic information such as OS version and screen resolution are exposed. Beyond that, the connection is secure, and the user’s local operating system and file structure are protected and invisible to the host connection. I would suggest some reading about basic foundations of networking before spreading ridiculously false information. Or perhaps stick to doing HR stuff, which by all accounts is very little. Haven’t contacted HR since I was hired years ago.

Post ID: @e7+1jjagcge3 True. $hittibank's own site on thelayoff.com would Not exist if employees trusted the VOE or going to "management", HR or the "Ethics" Office with their concerns.

$hittibank only wants to know who is Not drinking their Po!soned Koolaid so that $hittibank can retaliate and "Layoff" the employees or set them up for failure to justify Firings.

A poster mentioned that $hittibank should instead be a T!ttibank and sell cow's milk instead of being a Failure in banking and financial services. This makes logical sense. At least T!ttibank will be selling food (milk), which is an absolute necessity and will actually make T!ttibank profitable.

Treat your people decently and you’d not have to worry about what’s posted by employees. I know it goes against the norm but just a thought.

It would surprise me if HR was actively looking at this site. But I would not be surprised if security is, looking for threats against Jane etc.., especially after the dr-g company CEO mu---r in NYC.

@a7+1jjagcge3 nobody said HR.
The fact that you did, is probably that you are and got your feelings hurt.
Now you’re trying to do a a little spin control.

You are so delusional if you think HR is here and posting. Sad that they are still in your head after getting let go.
