Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

Not One, Not Two — At XOM It’s Not a Bug, It’s a Feature

Still debating whether this “feature” was installed during the North Carolina training workshop or long before that, but one thing’s clear: the pattern isn’t accidental. It’s baked in.

  • 2022Barinaga v. ExxonMobil Chemical Company.
  • Executive Arrest (2023-2024): David Scott.
  • Zachary Butler, a 30-year-old executive at the ExxonMobil campus in Spring, Texas

These perverts somehow ended up in management roles, and they try to compensate for what they never had by exerting power in unhealthy ways. They become entitled, overly reactive, and unable to tolerate rejection. Unfortunately, we’ve many of those in EMTECH

Hate to break it to you, but this is in line with national averages for the headcount of the Houston office.

Got an IT guy driving a Tesla in midland. Seems a bit strange don’t ya think. Also that North Carolina trip created some long lasting relationships.

@ab lots of managers that are swingers in Baton Rouge. It’s actually disgusting and they help each other. One just moved to the Permian.

Where did you get that Zack Butler was an executive?

what's your point? at the scale of 50k+ employees cherry-picking a few arrest articles - that doesn’t really say much about the overall culture. you’ll find articles like this for almost any large company. prove me wrong.

If you saw what some executives spend on alcohol while traveling you would lose your mind

Lots of freaks and perverts at exxon. It is almost a requirement to be dysfunctional to work there. I remember an male employee telling a female that she was 71% more likely to be ra--d in her zip code. The strange thing was he lived right near her in the same zip code. The female employee went to HR and complained but because he was a hipo it was all covered up. He was strange and would just stare at women.

The co----e parties and swinger lifestyle are a real thing. I was once on a business trip to an overseas location and my former supervisor invited me to his house for dinner. After dinner his wife started to come onto me in front of him. I got out of there as quick as I could.
