our manager even put down having a DUI as one of our goals for this year in order to please leadership.

What do you mean by DUI, surely not driving under the influence? That can't be a goal, or else I need to make better goals next year:
1 Only smoke weed on the on the job.
- Remember to wear pants to the town halls.
2.1 Stretch goal: clean - Ok, fine. Smoke weed on the commute in, too.
- Get eyes tattooed on my eyelids.
