@at He scolded us for the anonymous comments and then PP had to do a whole other video cleaning up the mess. What a terrible first impression/ should have known then
@ar yes!! He said he was “frankly very disappointed to see some anonymous comments floating around”, which we think he was trying to convey he’s disappointed that we felt the need to be anonymous, but we know deep down he flat out didn’t like seeing those comments.
That was the last townhall where comments were enabled, not to mention anonymous ones.
@an didn’t he also say we should be thankful we had jobs. And I vaguely remember something about anonymous postings on a zoom. He had seemed pretty irritated with that.
@ae still love that in one of Chubak’s first town halls, the script for him said “My favorite movie is [MOVIE NAME].”, which he inserted Zoolander. The script then had him share about how the sequel (Zoolander 2) is never as good as the original.
It was a strange first impression.

“You are safe” emails will not be sent out until after hours Tuesday, per my senior director. I have also heard that from a DL in another division. So I think it’s pretty accurate information.

I feel bad ironically, but I've been laid off before this job so it's definitely mixed feelings here.
@a1 If you're in India, you are 100% safe lol...kidding (sort of). Bjt yeah, I think you should be fine for now. Anyone that survives tomorrow will still need to keep their head on a swivel as 2026 will be the year of outsourcing/offshoring and then more layoffs in 2027 using AI as the excuse even though we all know edward jones AI wont be functional or realiable.
I heard all the bad news went out today and that tomorrow will be just be about leader shifts, etc. Tuesday people are the lucky ones.
I was just hired a few weeks ago and don't work in St Louis.
I wonder if that means I'm somewhat safe.
