Team leads

Are they doing away with leads? Or they going salary?

@10f Ok, here’s the deal: the whole team lead plan wasn’t setup practically to be successful. They expected much higher caliber people to take team lead roles but that didn’t happen. There’s a lot of malingering and not much ownership of areas, except in OGP and Deli and maybe TLE. Maybe HBA.

There’s lots of outs, stuff on the steel and not on shelves, stockers don’t get stuff stocked, a lot of associates just walking around pretending to work, and sadly, associates in team lead positions that have zero leadership skills. Expect to see something very similar to the old “department manager” position back. Also, some team leads will be sad to learn they will not get department manger positions.

Well something should be done because SOME leads don’t work their schedule. They work 7-4 Monday through Friday with no weekends but nothing is done about it.

When was that announcement made? I hear this every year. I hope it's true. Stores just ran better with DMs imo.
