If the VSP works for me, I’ll take it. If not, I’ll do the bare minimum until I’m eventually picked for layoffs. Honestly, it blows my mind that anyone still thinks people here are motivated to put effort into their work. There’s no trust left in leadership. None. And without that, there’s no cohesion, no sense of purpose, and no reason for any of us to go above and beyond.

Just curious, for those people that are considering apping to one of their jobs at this time, is there much chance it will go thru? Most companies handling high layoffs across the board, wanted to see how hard the restructuring situation is with EJ before getting my hopes up.
Just poor leadership. All lip service without substance.
Anxiety is through the roof. Why did they tell us in March this was coming? We have stressed over it for months and it’s still not over. #failure
Same. I already dodged layoffs last year when my department was "optimized" and send us scrambling for new teams or some took the layoff. If I have to train my indian replacement again under the guise of "transformation" Im going to explode. It makes zero sense what they are doing. "We want to double assets under management in 5yrs so instead of making a good product to sell, lets outsource 1/3 of the home office." ....riiight. tell us you are wanting a public buyout without telling us you are wanting a public buyout from a wall street firm. The mood today on my team is like someone we know just died. #culture
