Assuming you are not tagged for layoff and you give 2 weeks notice, can you change mind and offer to continue during that 2 week time period?

Spoken like a true citi drone. Instead of forging ahead on bad decisions so you wont "look bad".
I would not do that. It reflects on your decision making capabilities.
