Are we sure there’s no layoff this time? It’s already a week since the Feb earnings call so wanted to know if there are still any chances for the layoff.
Cisco and no yearly layoffs don’t sound right. 😂
That too, in this AI hyped market.
Companies will announce / file SEC notices for bigger numbers - ie: 4% of workforce - but all companies are doing some level of restructuring every quarter. If it doesn't rise to a certain level there are no WARN notices to file. Doesn't mean that they won't give a haircut to a group or cut out a product area entirely. Folks should always be ready just in case. Don't need to be like the frightened rabbit, be like the fox - ready for the next opportunity that might present itself. Can't just camp out in the same department, same company you're whole career.
@ac "haven't since COVID" troll harder.
They announced layoffs '22, '23, and '24
The stocks dropped more than 7% after market closed. That is not good news and the impact on layoffs remains to be seen.
30M set aside for restructuring... read the damn financials you mo--ns. Cisco l/r's people every single quarter now.. They don't announce it anymore. Haven't since covid.
Not sure who is the mo--n here

@a4 it means no raises
WebEx is the growth engine!
They said they're exercising "financial discipline" to drive profitability. Take that however you want.
Did they explicitly say no layoffs, or did they just not mention any? Missed the call.
Security is down -4%, if you are in SBG you should be looking anyway.
If they are the typical quiet ones, you won't know it until you smell it.
