New Sales Plan - New Rules and higher profits for Dell and shareholders

New Sales plan incentives sales to reach their targets 2x better than previous plans
and panelizes these below much more than previous plan

This is going to let Dell always earn more per share/deal while also a lot of Sales are goign to leave since it be unbearable - these left are ones they delivered over their numbers and with more accounts assigned are expected to do even more

it's similar to what EMC plan was - so not all that negative. Reward big sales that deliver and push out these that don't. Like it or not .

Quotas are increasingly unattainable, seemingly to control costs and now that intent is being documented in writing with the new 60% rule. Anyone still working here is a complete id--t.

Dell has managed to erase nearly all the joy from this work the motivation, the pride, the reasons we once had to show up energized. What remains feels less like a partnership and more like a system built on squeezing employees dry.

We should have the SEs start writing code. They could do a better job than engineering, that's for sure.

Engineering hasn't delivered anything competitive in years.

This is exactly the message of sales that can't deliver

You don't know what the quota is
You don't know what accounts

But you already know 'everyone will fail'

I can guarantee you that you are wrong.

Truth is all the Sales and ISRs that do nothing more than quotes all day long won't be around - as they are always one complaining on why they don't sell .

Sales that work hard - will get rewarded.
