Send him back to community college to get a high tech semi conductor technician degree quickly.
@a8 I don't think the Mango Mu--olini understands much of anything, he just caters to the whims of those who worship him.
@aa
Intel invested most of its Packaging early on and I mean 70s in Malaysia and the Philippines. It didn't expand into China until the early 2000s and the initial investment was a speck of dust compared to Apple. But you can blame Intel for starting up a Fab there. Samsung made the same mistake starting up fabs in China.
Doesn't matter
Same sh-t. Chip Acts couldn’t save Intel so does tariff. Hey sell your semi conductors chips outside US so we can have more layoffs and free times.
Intel’s assembly sites are outside US. So Intel only has first half partially in US, most are from Ireland and Isreal. The second half of manufacturing are outside US.
Thus Intel has over 60% manufacturing outside US. The tariff can shoot Intel badly as well.
TSMC got stabbed in the back. Taiwanese watch out! America is not an ally.
I don’t believe President Trump understands supply chain economics.
If that happens Lots of folks are going to be shocked Intel’s level of Non-American manufacturing. Or in other words, goodby Intel.
This is awesome! THANK YOU PRESIDENT TRUMP!!
We are financing the noose to hang us by giving business to TSMC (except their AZ plant).
I bet tsmc is exempt since they have the AZ site.

Well that’s highly inconvenient. Wow…should I just leave now or wait for the meeting where they tell us we no longer have a job?
This is a move directly aimed at saving intel. Looks like intel really is to big to fail and the government won't allow it to fail.
Great He is saving us Intel!
