Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

Do Managers and Senior Managers have to contribute now?

As part of flattening the organization, Managers and Senior Managers don’t have duties of people management. Directors are having them now. And thus they are now strictly technical. Do Managers and Senior Managers have to contribute now? In other words, do they now have to work on tasks like others on the team?

I think my post was misunderstood. Never said that Managers or Senior Managers did mot do anything. But I have heard from a bird that this is the expectation now. Not saying that you did not do anything. The same bird told me about layoffs with a number. And it came true. So I thought there might be something to it. Two others I go to lunch with also heard the bird chirp about the layoffs. So when I ran into the bird again, guess what the bird said what is in the question here. So wondering if bosses are now going to have to be doing the technical work. Not that I care or want them to do anything.

Had no idea I wasn't supposed to work before. I'm going to file a refund for the lost time
