Thread regarding Five9 Inc. layoffs

Delusional - You all OK?

Stumbled on this site for the first time, not a lot surprises me, but the trolls who slum it here have actually managed! The people in this forum must have completely forgotten the years of missed quotas, expectations and quota reductions (for leadership only) under the old regime. What’s it like to have selective amnesia? Must be nice to be delusional and sit around punching a paycheck wasting our company’s money on your salary while you’re supposed to be working talking sh-t about the company that you work for. The hypocrisy. How about you leave instead - door is wide open, do us a favor, jump through it. Join the others, free us from the toxicity. Oh …. you can’t find another job? Market is tough out there? Shocker, you must be a talentless, lazy, under performer that has been lucky to keep their job at Five9…waaaatch out you may be ousted before you get the chance to finally leave!

You know, some of us care, because there are good people around us. We complain because we know what the problems are and know of ways to begin fixing them.

Alright, Mike.

Listen, whoever you are (and I doubt you’re actually a member of the business) ignoring feedback and valid concerns is exactly why the business went the opposite way we’d all like.

This forum has been nothing but informative, the switch to complaining occurred far after this board was only used for ‘complaining’ (I posit OP, that you’re the one with selective memory since you ignored that fact).

I won’t, and neither should anyone else here fall for the obvious rage bait in which you try to present. My personal money is you are a fellow tech sector worker in another industry who gets his kicks from saying the exact opposite of the business board in which he finds, for sh--s and giggles.

Thanks, Clown.

@a9 not sure what being a low paid nobody has to do with this, but sure, happy to play along with that narrative if it makes you feel better.

The point was simple: a gentle reminder to the daily doom-posters that you do, in fact, have free will. No one's chaining you to your desk at Five9. If you're that disillusioned and convinced you deserve better (might be worth a quick look in the mirror and an honest talent audit first), by all means—go where the grass is greener. If someone else is willing to hire you, pack your desk and enjoy the fresh start. You’re not trapped here; it’s more like we’re trapped with your constant complaints. The same energy-vampires keep draining this place dry, so please, engage your brain, grow a spine, and kindly fly the coop. Our payroll could use the break.

Above is clearly posted by a low paid nobody. The only people actively posting here are the people that the company is riding the shoulders of. High paying jobs in product and sales are very, very privileged and people have given up a lot for five9, especially the in office folks. The people at the top but not high enough to get paid like execs are the people that have the most right to be disappointed. By the way they are leaving in droves.
