Wow, front end night shift has to work Sat and Sun night before finding out their fate. That would drive me nuts. Has your boss been acting weird like quickly looking away from you. My has been acting a little off. I maybe a goner on Thursday when I get back but I am ready. I have been ready since last year’s layoff. May the force be with you. Cheers!

@as TSMC needs workers for its US fabs and so employs trolls to try to discourage anyone from working for Intel.

This is widely known and they have been doing this since just before they announced that they would build additional fabs in the US.

It's just business, nothing personal.

Over the weekend I learned that a colleague manager has cancelled all group meetings and all 1:1 with her direct reports. Anyone else who has seen this behavior? Since meetings are canceled from 7/7 - I believe layoffs are from Monday. Everyone I know is super stressed 😰

My manager has been acting like that since last month. I also know another manager that’s been buying their people lunches throughout the month. I think they’re worried all around

All managers left must have at least 10 reports or this cost cutting action is a bunch of bullsh-t.

Remember, in the end, if the managers don't have enough people to manage under them, they will be laid off as well. In this day, with the help of AI and various tools, managers should have at least 30 people to manage under them. Anything less than 20 people, the managers job will be at risk as well.
