To my knowledge there are no India salary bands by caste, so it's only fair that there are no USA bands by location cost of living.

Ironic that it's a pay cut for those being pulled RTO in cities that were midgrade (X) or the higher ones (Y,Z)

@vw They messed with the ranges, by merging them. As if by magic, my market penetration level went from 19% to 29%, without so much as a penny of a raise.

If you go to uhgazure.sharepoint.com/sites/pay-benefits/SitePages/Salary-Ranges.aspx, it's right there. It's just no longer an Excel worksheet, with different ranges, based on your location.
