I don’t recommend the 5.0L.

  1. 7L ecoboost gets great mileage of you don’t tow.

I have 3.5L ecoboost in my f150 and love if.

Another option is the 3.5L powerboost/hybrid. Only hear great things about it.

Still looking for comments. Looking for 1/2 ton truck. F150, RAM, GMC. Not a fan of RAM. Don’t like that GMC does not allow apple play (they want people to use GM stuff). F150 was choice, but I’m concern about the engine type and quality.

I could go with Toyota, but MPG is not good.

No, I’m not touching a toy vehicle (aka BEV). I need a truck that can pull a 24’ boat. I’m trying to avoid turbo engines (ecoboost). Now I’m told to avoid 5.0 L engine. I’m at a loss.

I recommend one of Ford's BEV's or if you can wait, hold on for the Gen2 Model e BEV products. You will be glad you did.

Do yourself a favour and don’t buy anything with a 5 L in it especially the trucks the blocks are leaking oil the engineers that run the plant are incompetent managements even more incompetent. Bill Farley and Kumar were at the plant about a week ago and they asked management what do they need to be successful and all he heard back was crickets. Absolute in confidence I just do my job and keep my mouth shut

  • A man’s Mustang Dark Horse caught fire months after he paid over MSRP.
  • Ford never followed up, but a year later sent him a welcome kit.
  • The owner called it tone-deaf and joked it was "rubbing it in."
  • He got only $800 in court after insurance.
  • Ford helped others in similar cases but stayed silent here.
