No, they sell and sign a lease back. When lease is up, you'll be done. What rock you living under, they been doing this for a long time.
It's almost as if at&t wants no hard assets anymore. Back in the good Ole days, prior to 1984, AT&T was a world leader in hard assets. They practically owned everything.
