Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

I like him

I always liked DS. Sad he's not gonna be with us anymore.

He gave the best hints thus far.

Maybe that was the plan all along, his going away gift for us...

3/12/2025 folks!

Are you gonna hold or sell your stock before the bell that day is the question...

Bro the board definitely reading this. They discovered SM lied on resume from this site, then they put DS as interim because of this thread. We got influence.

Wait, you asked for 10 and he gave double that but then you say they don't count because you've heard of them? What is happening here lol

You tell the person to name successful CEOs, they do, then those names aren’t good enough because they are famous. Makes sense. Probably the same people whining about the company when they could go get another job…

JB and his college degree got us to where we are now.

I don’t think college is a necessity, but all of the CEOs you listed aren’t they the founders of the company they’re running?

@150+1jnhq18yx Okay you’ve named a bunch of famous and massively successful CEOs who embraced the fact they never graduated college, and never lied about graduating. I’m afraid SM did lie unlike those CEOs you listed.

You’re also comparing successful and renowned CEOs to Crown’s unsuccessful and relatively unknown CEO.

There's a difference between "most successful" and "most famous".

Richard Branson, Michael Dell, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Larry Ellison, Jack Dorsey, Micky Arison, Amancio Ortega, David Geffen, Ralph Lauren, Henry Ford, Ingvar Kamprad, Coco Chanel, Walt Disney, Simon Cowell, Jake Nickell, Daymond John, Jimmy John Liautaud.

@@zh+1jnhq18yx, No, actually the “most successful” CEOs do have college degrees, and these successful CEOs you speak of that don’t have degrees never lied about it. Please name ten “most successful” ceos that don’t have degrees - Bill Gates is an outlier whose father was a wealthy lawyer. Most CEOs who got caught lying about their qualifications were ousted.

Think ya missed the point bud. Lack of integrity may or may not be what we need. But it is what it is and he is who they thought he was.

@jh+1jnhq18yx

You do realize most of the most successful CEOs in 2025 don't have degrees right? The lying is a problem but who cares if a 60 year old went to college 40 years ago, the info is out of date by now anyway.

Ds was great eccept when CL and 10 others saw him and that woman come from the empty office in SP together.

Has he ever climbed a tower or ran fiber? Some leadership that understands the business not "business" would be great.

@ek+1jnhq18yx, Yes we are being led by a CEO who doesn’t even have a college degree. He claimed to have graduated with a bachelors but never actually completed the degree.

Did Moskowitz really lie about having a college degree? Wild if true.

Crown has a lot of problems, but I don't think DS was one of them. I appreciate his candor and level-headedness when addressing things no one else in the EMT would touch. I hope whoever replaces him is an equally sensible leader. Clearly the guy really believes in CCI and I think it's actually a bit sad that he is leaving.

I think you said “when JB became CEO” wrong.

The problems in Crown started just right after DS became CFO. If you think that's all a coincidence, well, bless your heart!

That call was with a guy who’s last day is soon and gives zero f’s about this company or fiber review. It was so refreshing and nice to hear then the typical corporate jargon and talking points.

You people love to hear yourselves talk. “Pretty much confirmed buyer for fiber”

No sh-t Sherlock!!! Lol

DS was cool until he blew up TPG buying fiber by leaking the $8B price point

@a9+1jnhq18yx Pretty much confirmed a new owner for fiber by not answering a question about RSUs with enough ambiguity

DS is just like the rest of the EMT. He was part of the EMT when they bought all those terrible fiber companies and he was part of the EMT when they gutted tower and then designated everyone to move to Houston. He hung on after Jay left because they promised him a golden parachute. Don’t trick yourself into thinking he’s different from the rest.

I liked him too. DS went to Wharton at Penn for grad, the best business school in the world. He was great until he got forced to resign then they wanted him back but it was too late. At least he didn’t lie about his educational qualifications like CEO SM who lied about his undergrad early in his career.
