@fw The person who titled the thread called the realignments layoffs, not the CEO. In fact, the CEO chose to equivocate and avoid using the term altogether. Given the two public layoffs and the quiet layoff earlier this year, he left plenty of room for speculation.

@f9 Just read the title of this thread dippy. CEO realigns leadership and it’s badged as layoffs are coming. Jeez are you sure you’re clever enough to be in this business?

@f3 Cite an example in this thread in which someone is turning “a bold move into a negative for the company.”

Out of frustration with current leadership, people, by and large, are welcoming the bold moves, not disparaging them.

Can't wait to see Five9 get rid off Panos and fa--o Jonathan who were selling us snake oil.

@a8 The Heckler's Veto is the weakest of all arguments. If you don’t accept this, then your post also applies to you.

If you have something intelligent to post, please do.

You need to stop using this platform to vomit whatever thought goes through your mind. I’m sure your mother raised you to think before you speak. No one has mentioned layoffs and the CEO told us these aren’t part of the plan.

@a3 The answer to the direct question about layoffs is that they would not be due to cost-cutting. The "realignments" will be at the VP level, and they are coming.

That’s what most layoffs called anyway! I hope CEO continues this cleanup and dismantles Cisco mafia in the leadership

I don’t see how that would work, with all the strategic work coming in our teams way, we are massively understaffed. The ceo has been competent so far, not sure why we would affect important roles.
