Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

New board, more instability

The unstable ship continues listing. Now Manifold is out, another leader thrown to the bin due to unacceptable conduct. No way to have a successful business with this many hands grabbing the wheel in such a short time.

We’re having faster turnover than the UK PM. Enough of this Euro lunacy, time to return our strength.

“ Manifold insisted he “called out … unnecessary or excessive expenditure” but felt not everyone shared his priorities.

He added that he turned down many of the benefits traditionally enjoyed by top executives, which he calls a “culture of entitlement”, including chauffeur-driven cars, flying by private jet or taking advantage of corporate hospitality.”

These bstrds constantly pestering us about cost cutting whilst they are living it up….fire all of them!

They get paid enough to shout at each other, it's not a crèche. They don't get paid to tank the share price with playground drama. This board crusade to smear each other out, give it a rest before the pensioners come for you.

I only mentionned the yelling on this thread. Other thread was not me. Look it’s quite a well known thing if you work in Sjs. In sunbury people heard about it too.

@b9 how does one “yell on” someone & why do you say it like that on every thread?

@bk ok big dawg, it’s clear you don’t like kaskida, but that’s not likely what lead to the chairpersons ouster.

@b9 yikes … that is not a good leadership quality. Yelling might get a short-term reaction, but will destroy long-term relationships and outcomes.

Hopefully the board members responsible for another failed appointment are next to be ejected.

Given the secrecy it had to be s-xual misconduct.

Do we know the nature of the misconduct?
