1989....17 weeks on strike. You F##king twa#ts don't know what sacrifice is. They are not going to just give it to you like the participation trophies you've been handed to you you're whole lives. Stand up und fight for what you deserve. Not what you are given.

@br
Those are the cr-p coverages with the $2000 deductible....My BCBS is over 5 grand out of pocket...going to 6 grand by end of contract...New hires don't even get their spouse or family insured...Those raises are before taxes and b.s. Union dues...Take a look at your NET from the last paycheck of 2025....Not enough for NY living....Unless ya live in the ghetto

What you give back now, you will never get back. " Hold the line in '89!"

Nyc minimum wage going to 30 dollars a hour

We were making 20 a hour when minimum wage was 5 dollars

120 hour is justified

@bj We make $53.975/hr right now that's $112,268 annual base salary. We're getting raises of 4%, 3.5%, 3%, 3%, 3%

112,268 1.041.0351.031.03*1.03 = 132,050

132,050 - 112,268 = $19,782

Health Care Family Plan Monthly 2027 is $332 or $3984 annual.

Health Care Family Plan Monthly 2030 is $380 or $4560

4560 - 3984 = $576

So sorry I was slightly off on my memory of the healthcare premium number but your still talking about a $19,000 difference. These number are directly from the TA so I would like to know where you are getting your information from if you think this is inaccurate.

High costs of living is a bigger issue than the contract. The dipsh-t leadership of 1101 everyone wants to vote no because this extension has none of the false promises they made to their junior members. Cost of living is not the company’s problem it’s a NY problem. Everyone can agree the rents and mortgages are too damn high. Two income household is the solution not crying about the extension. For those who feel the company can do a lot a better with the extension I’m sure you’re right but that’s not today’s reality.

If you don’t understand why this is a good contract, maybe you should go somewhere else. Seriously, if you want to ignore what’s in this contract that benefits you, go get one of those other jobs. Do what is best for you.
