The management critters on the Left Coast that I have had to deal with are the absolute most pathetic excuse for a productive employee that I've ever met.

The people doing the actual work or a different story but the management team is a whole different story.

@ae Far more than five people. The design team alone had 2–3 contractors, and several full-time employees left or retired.

@a8 "Ford has offered all 263 employees at the design studio the chance to relocate to Long Beach or Dearborn, Michigan, but as of now, five of them have denied such a request, meaning that their employment will be terminated at the conclusion of August. Of those 263 workers, 92 are hardware development engineers."

It was in WARN report. They don’t report moving people to different offices to WARN.

A colleague that works in Irvine told me they were moving into a new office a week ago. I'm assuming the ones that didn't move in to a new office got laid off.
