Also, if there is to be a lot of COM, OP should clear this with Jily ahead of time.
If I read OP correctly, it sounds like Jily expects a lot of COM after exit.

They can do pay in lieu of notice. They have to file the paperwork 60 days before the end of the layoffs, but if they layoff everyone before that 60 days, and give everyone either 60 days to find a new job or 60 days pay they're legal.
