Any word on when the new Chief Technology Officer is going to reorg and begin the RIF's of his inflated teams?

New CIO has been saying (and reporting to the board) that he intends to increase the FTE to contractor ratio, which is a total reversal from the previous CIO model of outsource everything.

@a8+1jmfnttzm, What are your thoughts on there being teammates who have data and metrics showing performance and output per dollar (value) exceeding expectations and doubling, sometimes tripling, that of coworkers being removed and the underperformers and/or time wasters/padders being kept?

Hearing that people weren't working from home is hilarious. For that to he true no one had any sort of goals or metrics? That's just a failure of management being blamed on peons as always. The same people who are accomplishing nothing from home will accomplish nothing in the office, if anything it's easier to hide having nothing to do when you're in the office.

The other DCIO's have 4 levels of management between worker bee and CEO. This group has 6-7 levels!! Jamie Dimon talked about how Chase exploded by 50K jobs during Covid because people simply wern't working from home. Wonder how much this played into the CT&O explosion.
