Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

New year, new job

Got some great news today. I will have a pay cut. But in exchange, I have no need to work with outsourced code, less days in office, and parking.

I hope the new CEO works out for you all better than the last few years have for me.

@a5+1jkbtqd0c Corporate company where people are treated like adults? Where is that? I don't remember anything anymore but Fiserv.

I agree. He sure fu---d up Fiserv pretty bad. Unrecognizable prior to him taking over.

I've never seen a CEO wreck a company like Frank did

@a8+1jkbtqd0c A very large competitor. Not on payment side. They don't require 4 to 5 days but may be moving to that if the trend continues next year.

It is still better than to be with a company that rushes to sc--w you as soon as they are able.

Meanwhile Fiserv has been too busy propping the ponzi stock and giving false appearances for far too long. Trust me when I say the competition is aware and taking advantage of this.

If either of you come back and check this post any chance you could hint at where you got hired? I’ve applied many places but it’s taking some time, but still trying.

I got a pay increase and am fully remote. I work with and for adults who treat everyone else like the professionals we are. The entire company is in 2 time zones (CST and EST). No one books meetings during lunch (12-1) and everyone knocks off a couple of hours early on Friday afternoons. It's amazing! I work for one of Fiserv's bank customers and feel like I've hit the professional lottery.

Right there with you. Pay cut, too, but... half the commute time, three days of my choice home, all bank holidays closed plus closed on Christmas eve, no weekend/overnight "voluntold" work, no parking wars, and every single employee is bonus eligible. With that maxed, I'd make more than my non-bonus eligible role here so it's only a cut on paper not in potential.

Better is out there y'all, keep looking!
