The entire company was working 100% remote for like two years. We don't need evidence showing that hybrid works if we know full remote works.
@ap they just closed the Pittsburgh office and that office is now working 5 days from home. Should that inconsistent policy be fixed to all of us working 5 days from home?
@ap eventually they’ll force you to move to BH so you would no longer have to complain about your 5 days in office and you can “confidently”meet expectations

Berkeley Heights works two days from home every week and still meets expectations (allegedly, per Mikes comments this AM) which proves the model works. Yet other offices are told five days onsite is non-negotiable. That’s the imbalance being called out. Columbus office with a similar model.
Parking may have been the stated reason, but that garage hasn’t even broken ground. Meanwhile, flexibility was granted immediately, despite well-known attendance inconsistencies that somehow didn’t disqualify the location from being “rewarded” with remote days.
If the company can successfully operate one office with built-in remote flexibility, then it’s reasonable to ask why others are excluded. That’s not about personal advancement or performance reviews. It’s about equitable standards and logical policy.
Deflecting to personal jabs doesn’t change that reality.
@a9 I’m glad you know the BH office has that flexibility because of parking, meaning it’s not by choice. Maybe you should move to the BH office so you can have that same flexibility and it won’t feel like such a “large imbalance” to you. People who focus on other people’s business instead of their own are usually the ones who don’t advance in life. Hopefully your annual review went well so you can at least get the additional five WFH days.
Berkeley Heights employees are permitted to work from home two days per week due to parking constraints, in addition to receiving the 15 annual flex days. In contrast, other office locations are required to work onsite five days per week and receive only the 15 annual flex days.

Also if you're meets expectations and above, you will now get 15 WFH days beginning March 1.
