@2rg Boy I wish that I got laid off back in 2023 during the reorg. They are making the stats darn near impossible to achieve. They have 95% quality when the offshore quality team has no clue what they’re doing. At least the training team is the knowledge team.
New CEO is the ex CEO of Walmart who cut remotes. Remote employees should be very worried. Announcement may come tomorrow 2/8.
Reports all on WSJ and CNBC
@2yc You sound like my manager messaging me on Teams at 4 PM on Friday.
Any updates?
CCOE quality and knowledge was laid off last year before the holidays. I am sure Service Planners and then Specialists are the next to go.
Offshoring to India
Has anyone requested to be laid off with severance instead of rto…
@d2 exactly like f’ing retire to your mansion already.
Boomers are the worst group of people and want nothing better for anyone. If they did it then everyone should, f any type of improvement of evolvement.
@gj I worked for a team in my previous job that was critical for its 8 figure revenue business. All of us were remote and got laid off. No company cares about criticality of a team when they view their balance sheets.
No way they just can all remotes. There are entire teams that are remote which run business critical pieces of our business.
You sound like youre making sh-t up.
@d2 idk I still think they will lay off remotes…
@d2 it’ll happen when they announce the new CEO which will be Q1.
@a7 I found out remotes aren't going anywhere and all of this RTO was driven by Ron because he's a old a-s boomer ("my son tells me we're hip to offer Instacart!"). He'll be gone soon
Remote gone by start of Q1.
