Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Check the calendar of the managers you know -do they or did they have meeting this morning ?

It could be the "read the script" training which I think it predates the act
I am seeing all the guys I know in meeting right now
my guy was supposed to get back to me on a matter and he did not do it, so I had the curiosity to check

In general, I think the script is this: they all get booked for the meeting prior to the date and you will see that they all align perfectly with their calendars for that meeting, no exceptions

The hit is coming and deep. Cisco cares about people like sh-t cares about flies. If you’re on the list you’re already on it and have been for quite some time. Don’t live it twice. Deal with it when it comes. And know, the culture at Cisco is absolute toxicity from elt to slt to IC. Everyone is overworked and miserable. Only there to keep the pay check as tech is imploding. They are relying on this fear to fu-k people on merit and stock but keeping attrition low. The ultimate sc-m bag company. Such a dramatic fall from grace from what was once great tech company with great culture. Until the culture vultures came in destroyed it.

Most managers calendars show busy 80-90% of the day. Unless they open up the details to their teams it’s impossible to read anything into a “busy” block
