The way Pat abused them, TSMC could have easily told Intel to fack off. But instead they helped.
To keep them safe from the overreaches of the PRC, we should take the Taiwanese people out of Taiwan and resettle TSMC in the spot of land that used to be known as Ha--s’s Gaza.
TSMC is the most faithful partner of the US semiconductor companies. No matter what kind of dirty politics Intel has played to them, they delivered for Intel just like for everyone else. I am surprised to see someone on this thread even wants to nuke them. Without them Intel is dead already. Don't know that at least?
@a7... that is what we worked here when Intel was successful. It is a tough business, you can't compete on 40 hour weeks, 12 holidays, and 4+ weeks of vacation every year.

To operate TSMC five new factory, TSMC need to bring lot's of Intel engineers with high salary! Fab engineer's salary will be boosted a lot in the near future which is very bad news for Intel.
Yeah technicians love over times, double times and even triple times at best. We love money so we love TSMC now. We will help them to solve problems better than Intel because Intel is paying so cheap comparing to CEO salary and benefit.
