Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Why blog discussions below pertain to Hans? Hans is gone, correct?

Hans Vestberg is no longer on Verizon's payroll, correct?

Vestberg, continuing to deal with the remnants, thank you for the hot mess?

How many of Vestberg's top tier executives remain??

Gone are EVPs, to include Shank and Sampath... Which other executives are no longer affiliated at Verizon and who continue to remain??

@OP If you mean “doing no useful work while waiting to collect his $24 millions” then yes.

Hans is still on payroll, he's still in vzweb. In fact Ivan S. Is still on vzweb. They never stop being on payroll. Doesn't matter if they were great or cr-ppy. They get paid for life.

@OP is one of Hans minions. With that mindset, why do people talk about any leaders after they step down? Think of all evil leaders the world has seen, nw don’t talk about them every again.

Dan and Hans are both known for their anti-US, anti-Hong Kong, Pro China leanings. big reason why they both seemed to love Biden

@a6 Counterpoint: he was very successful at failing up! He was forced out of the top job at Ericsson for poor performance but eventually landed at Verizon as Lowell's heir apparent, then as CEO. So if failing up is part of your plan, you should definitely listen to his advice. He speaks from experience.

@a2 It doesn't help that he's tone deaf in a Marie-Antoinette kind of way. The company lost market share and had frequent layoffs under his leadership and he was forced to step down abruptly but he's out there dispensing advice on how to be successful as if he was one of the most successful CEOs of all time.

He's a legend in his own mind.

@OP Hans is hardly working but he will be getting $24 millions as "special advisor" on top of the many millions he collected while mismanaging the company.

If you can't figure out why that doesn't sit well with people who were laid off because of said mismanagement, I can't help you.
