@Re+1 (below commenter)

Right, you stay quiet, hide the real story, and then call everyone else bullsh-tting. A whole talent shitel needs at the moment!!

Don't worry, we noticed ppl like you at shitel all the time!

I am the master of bullsh-t and never guess anything 100% when I open up my mouth. I disagree with the guys that said 100% chance of layoff or lay off 100% employees. That is more than bullsh-t because he doesn’t make any decision to lay off so how he knows for sure 100% chance (?). Laying off all 100% employees is also more than a bullsh-t. I can bullsh-t for 99% chance of layoff if the 18A or 14A process node won’t be able to yield more than 50% by the end of the year and it will lay off 99% employees so LBT and the only top 1% left have to pretend working hard on recovery efforts.

It is easier to bullsh-t than getting things done
So let keep bullsh-t until nothing is done to bullsh-t

I think 100%. Let me also tell you when the next one will be: February 2026.

Anyways, for me none of this matters anymore as I dropped my laptop this week and left the building for the last time. Damn I feel good! Now I can focus on my next gig with 100% engagement with zero Intel noise!

@OP The answer of course depends on what you think 'more coming layoff' means in the english language.

LBT layoff 1000 engineers, to hire a few of his friends and give them high salary and bonus.

There is no saving by layoffs. The budget goes to LBT’s private company as well.

Intel has no profits and had big loss each quarter. The layoff is counted into operational gains, thus Intel will report gains in earning’s report. It is financial scam and trick used by Intel.

@ct you bi--h. 100% layoff meant a 100% chance of layoffs. Not all 100%. You sound like a perfect Intel employee

No chance for any company to lay off 100% because it needs at least 1 employee to be a company. I think @a2 and @a5 need to go back to Intel University to finish their business degree. You two are the first to fail the challenge. You are not talents at Intel. Go home

No company ever has a 100% layoff at any given time in its life time cycle. Zero employee is impossible for a company.

It took 5 years for Intel 14nm to mature. It might take up 10 years for the current 18A and14A to mature because it is even more complicated to do with less people and no interest. Expect more layoffs to watch until then. Go get or upgrade your PhD degree to avoid next round of layoffs. This is no joke.

January layoffs are already planned, GL's are notified months ahead to prepare. Thats why lots people already know from their GL that the layoffs are coming in January. Intel is already outsourcing the engineering jobs and reducing the staffing.

where is the 100% chance option? They are reducing, go read the sec files, they couldn't find a customer for their line up

Z: More than 99% chance of layoff in Q1

or
A:zero chance of not being a layoff

Hi guys

Forgot to mention earlier this is a challenge for a chance to win $1 millions dolla to Intel talents only. Please don’t participate if you don’t have a talent. You will also have a winning chance to swap out LBT salaries and bonus packages if you can outbid his layoff prediction. No degree requirement. No interview necessary. No background check. Just cast your vote as simple typing a, b, c, d, e or f.

Any comment is welcome if you don't agree with any anticipated talent.

This poll will be taken down at anytime if there is a winning talent coming forward to wrap a million dolla $$$

It's 100%. I heard it directly from my boss. Q1. Don't know if it's in January, but it's coming.
