Paramount Not Alone in RTO

NBC Universal just issued out a 4-Day RTO mandate starting in January, so those starting to do their job search will likely face similar challenges as more companies require RTO.

@be How do you explain P+ success and positive increase in subscribers YOY then with 100% staff being remote? For anything P+ negative, blame C-suite for d-mb decisions.

Way too many abused the policy. Rather than call them out many found it more important to defend WFH. Now you are losing the privilege.

NBC pay is jokingly low. I wonder if the new Versant offshoot decides to call back employees 4 days a week. Nothing like starting a "new" company and calling everyone back.

NBCU’s salaries are ridiculously low by comparison to Paramount and other studios so not a good option regardless

@a7 Then we will lose top talent, especially in technology. Nobody wants that old school sh-t.

@a5 yes but if you are a current remote Paramount employee or just anti RTO and looking for work in response to Paramount’s RTO mandate, NBCU isn’t going to be an option to escape to. Soon other large media companies, and other industries for that matter, will follow this inevitable direction unfortunately for those seeking more work flexibility.

NBCU was basically already tues - thurs. I was far long with job there a few months ago and that’s what I was told. so not a huge change for them.

NBCU didn't want to be first to do so.
